overall • Jaih Hale was a successful Filipino man before meeting Maribeth. He designed houses and different new kinds of things for the wealthier set of people. When he met Maribeth he quit his job and married her immediately. She was a Hawaiian girl who was visiting her great grandmother. She had just graduated high school when he met her. They got married in the Philippians and stayed there for two years after that.
Mari started to miss her life back in Hawaii, but she was pregnant at the time so Jaih wouldn't let her leave. She said that it wasn't up for discussion and that she was going home before the baby was born. They boarded a plane that night and were back in Hawaii by the next afternoon. She had her baby a month later, naming him Jordan. He was a perfect child.
Jaih started working again, designing video games this time and they had to move closer to the center of the United States. They moved to California against Maribeth's will, with their three year old baby. Jordan enjoyed every part of California as he grew older and older, making friends and living a good life on the outskirts of San Francisco. He met many celebrities and went to concerts with his friends almost every weekend. His parents were so easy going.
When he turned sixteen his father came to him with the news, the news of moving again. Jordan ran away that night across the Golden Gate into Marin County. One of his friends was having a party anyway, and he could crash there for the night. A week later he came home, finding his father in the living room with a couple of police officers. The police left and warned him not to run away again.
The moment the sirens were gone out of hearing range Jordan's father stood walking calmly over to him. Jordan expected to get yelled at, but he got much worse than he expected. The palm hit his face with massive speed, making Jordan fall backward with impact. He screamed but neither parent did anything. They moved a week later, Jordan hadn't said a word to his parents all week and just wore an angry face all the time. The whole drive to Long Beach was silent.
Jordan didn't like Long Beach when he first moved, there was no one of interest there. It was just a boring little town in his opinion. Almost immediately did everyone know his life story. He told one person, and soon everyone knew that his father hit him. The rumor was spread around the adults as well, which upset his father into hitting him again. This time it was out of anger not worry. Jordan didn't spend much time at home after he got the job at the Chinese place and often he didn't come home at night.
"this movie is total nuts."

roleplay sample •Her head hit on the window repeatedly as the car slowly pulled into the dirt road/parking lot. Her parents decided to drive the whole family down to see the camp and they took the van. All nine of them. She had been hitting her head on the window for the past twenty seven hours and finally seeing the beauty of the camp her heart leapt.
Kevin poked her side, not knowing if she was asleep or not. "Kara... wakey wakey." He said, a cheerful tone in his voice, even though it was cracking. She looked up and smiled at him and he smiled back. Kevin was her favorite sibling, and the only one that she said she would sit next to in the van. She put up her yellow hoodie and looked back out the window with her steal blue eyes. Her mother was shouting about how there was a parking space further up near the office but her father contradicted with "It's a good thing to get some sort of excessive. Stop complaining." She let out a sigh.
They all finally piled out of the car and Kevin quickly ran behind the van to get his sisters suitcases. Kara stepped out of the car and pushed through her little siblings to find her suitcases already unloaded. She smiled at Kevin. If it was anyone other than her brother she could bet he had the hots for her. Kara ran toward Kevin and held him in an embrace. "I'll miss you. You be the man of the house and make sure everyone brushes their teeth at night." She said letting her brother go. He was crying. She brushed her thumb under his eye and whipped the tears back into his hair, "I'll be back at the end of the summer, you wont even miss me." She reassured, kissing him on the cheek and looking him in the eye. He nodded, "Okay. I love you Kare." Kevin said, his voice cracked at the word love, but she understood.
"Hurry this up!" Her mother screeched. Kara sighed and took her brother in one last hug, waving to the rest of her siblings. Taking the handle of her suitcase Kara dragged it through the rocky dirt toward the office shouting one last "I love you guys." and watched her siblings line up from oldest to youngest and run toward her. She stopped walking and stood still as they all hugged her. She smiled, tapping the top of their heads and hugging them all. "Get to the car before mom has a stroke." She laughed viewing her mothers red face.
This family moment had attracted a few strange views from campers passing by. Were they all related? Yep! She bounced toward the main office and to the window, sitting her green luggage behind her as she approached the window. "Hi. I'm Kara Lee. Came to check where I'm going." She stated down to the person at the window.
