overall • lachlan saul parker is an odd soul. he prefers the company of a piano or a tree to those around him. when the duty of interaction with other people comes into view, he despises it and runs away from it as fast as he can.
on the odd occasion that someone manages to break through his solid rock wall, they find him to be a pleasant sort of fellow. he's very polite, but has a twisted sense of humor. he doesn't like committing to relationships, and if someone actually did spike his interest they would have to be a very patient person with him.
lachlan prefers to be called lachie, and is very picky on that. lachie loves to play the piano, he's been playing since he was a tiny-totter. through th years, he also developed a love for reading. if anyone ever found out about his jane austen obsession, he might just go jump off a cliff.

overall • sixteen years ago in a small, dingy apartment, lachlan saul parker was born to peter and megan. his father, peter, was a very wealthy and well-known lawyer. the apartment in which they lived in was a small, temporary home in the heart of london for the duration of lachlan's birth. when lachlan was six months old, he and his family moved back to the mansion they previously owned.
lachie was never brought up with other kids. he preferred the quiet solitude of his own bedroom, in which he had a plentyful supply of books for his enjoyment. the only friends he had were the maids in the mansion, and his mother. his dad was rarely home; a sacrifice he had to make in order to keep his job.
because of their wealth, they decided to send lachlan to the well-known st. sophia academy. lachlan was less than joyed about that -- no doubt he would have to socialise. he hoped they would have a piano there at least, but there was no knowing what would happen. lachlan has been attending st. sophia for one year.
"this movie is total nuts."

roleplay sample • Melisa could feel Embry's warmth through her own, as he stood closer to her. Her heartbeat went wild once again. She shook her head and replied to him. "Sure, sure. Whatever you say, sand-eater." she giggled as they walked towards the beach. Melisa was getting kind of scared about phasing later because Embry would be able to read her thoughts. Stupid being in the same pack.. She gave an invoulintary shudder at the thought of what he would do if he knew Melisa had imprinted on him. Would he run? Scream? Never speak to her again? Melisa's ultra warm heart broke in two at the thought of it. A slight frown played upon her lips, but she turned it upside down before she thought that Embry would notice.
He'd sat himself down on a rock to retie his shoelaces. Melisa stood next to him with her arms crossed, looking out at the sea. Maybe they would go for a swim -- drool! Embry with his shirt off -- but Melisa didn't think about that. Or maybe they would make some sand castles. Melisa actually preferred the first option, so she pulled an Embry, and took her laced shoes off, a long with her socks.
She left them right next to the rock where Embry sat, and waded her way into the water. Her feet sank right into the sand. The water was exceptionally cold, but Melisa didn't mind it. It felt warm to her, as her head wasn't exactly screwed on right at that point in time. She swayed on the spot, her eyes shut and a toothless smile dances upon her lips. She took a few deep breaths before opening them again to look at Embry.
"So, we could swim or build sand castles or something." she shrugged. They had all day together, a bonus which Melisa wasn't exactly counting on. Casually, Melisa bent down to scoop up a handful of sand. She cupped it into a ball with her other hand, and while Embry was looking the other way, she hurled it with great force at his back.
Her head tilted back and she let out a bark of laughter as it made a splatter on his shirt. She shook her head, still laughing, at the thought of what he would do in return.
