Funny- This silly chika is almost always smiling or laughing. Bethany loves to laugh, and make other people laugh; so she tends to joke around a lot. Whether it be by making a dorky face, saying something silly, or messing around with her friends; she's always got a smile on.
Caring- Bethany has a large heart and cares deeply for people; especially her friends. This girl can't even go into a pet store without purchasing an animal-mostly dogs or puppies-. If she sees you looking sad or upset, she'll try to find out whats wrong. Bethany isn't able to walk away when she sees someone hurting; it tears her up inside.
Happy- Always seizing the day and offering a smile; that's normally the attitude this girl wakes up with. Even the smallest, littlest thing can make Bethany smile. Seeing a flower in full bloom, lovers kiss before departing, a bird chirping a cherry song; these things always bring a smile to her face.
Hurt- You know how I mentioned how 'happy' Bethany is? Well after a little twist of events with her boyfriend, she got hurt. Bethany started to shut people out and eventually took a little vacation from everything. After returning she seemed almost normal again; though she's still hurting on the inside.
Temper- Though she's normally a 'happy' person, even little Ms. Carter has a foul temper. It usually takes something pretty big to make Bethany angry, but she's been known to snap at you for the little thing if she's not in a good mood. Bethany has a great grip on her temper, but even the sweetest, most well behaved girls can get vicious.
Talkative- One of Bethany's strong points; she's a great conversationalist. Having a vivid imagination, and great interest in almost any subject; Bethany can get into any conversation with ease...though she tends to talk the most, and then feel slightly embarrassed. One thing you have to keep track of is the subject, Bethany tends to jump subjects without paying much attention to it herself.
Moody- A weakness of Bethany's; her ever swinging moods. Almost as constant as her jumping subjects in a conversation, you have to be careful. Her moods usually jump around in the confused, excited, happy, sad, content, interested, and bored areas; but if you catch her when she jumps to angry, you might want to look out.
Preppy- Bethany is mostly pretty sporty, but her preppyness tends to outshine her sportiness. She loves shopping, and is always interested in the lastest and greatest styles and fashions. You can almost always find her at the mall, or buying something cute on her phone.
Secretive- Most likely Bethany's most used personality trait; her experience at keeping a secret. If you confide in Bethany, you know she won't tell a soul; she'll take that secret to the grave if she has to. But not only is she good at keeping secrets, she's good at not spilling her own.

Bethany Fay Carter, the youngest daughter to Aiden and Vivian Carter, grew up with everything she needed.....or should I say wanted. This child was pampered and spoiled through her childhood, as was her twin sister Lindsey. Neither Aiden or Vivian found fault in spoiling their perfect daughters, though I can honestly say that Vivian doted upon Lindsey a lot more then she did Bethany. Aiden knew they shouldn't completely spoil the girls, but he could do nothing to convince Vivian to lighten up; so he took to keeping Bethany more balanced then spoiled. He brought her with him everywhere when she wasn't attending school, and when she was he'd pick her up after.
In the Carter house it was as if two different families lived there. Vivian only did things with Lindsey, and Aiden with Bethany; neither parent noticed much....but both daughters did. This caused a large gap to form between Bethany and Lindsey, and both began to fight and then they completely stopped talking....this happened when they were twelve. Also at this time, Aiden filed for a divorce. Vivian was more then willing to sing the paper; she had a boyfriend she'd rather be with anyways. So each parent took one child; Vivian took Lindsey and Aiden took Bethany. At this time they were living in St. Cloud Florida, but after the divorce Aiden and Bethany started moving around.
After moving around for a few years, Aiden finally landed a great job in California. He's working his way very high as a professional photographer. But being that he's always gone or busy-and he can't take her with him anymore- Aiden decided to put Bethany into the St. Sophia Academy. Though Bethany has never really been one for the boarding school scene, she didn't argue. She knew her dad loved this job, and he wanted her to get the best education money could buy; so she was quite content with switching to a boarding school.
Bethany was fourteen when she started going to St. Sophia Academy, by the time she was sixteen she'd already had an abortion; been cheated on and gotten her belly button pierced. Not something her father was happy with; but she still remained a student at St. Sophia Academy.
When Bethany was seventeen she found out her boyfriend had cheated on her; and to make it worse, with her twin. After that little news-and her fear of her ex finding out that she'd cheated on him - Bethany dissapeared. No one knew where she went, not even her parents.
It's been eight months, and Bethany returned. Her father too glad that she'd back to be angry; mainly because Cathy convinced him a girl needed a little time to herself for a while. Bethany's back in school, but things aren't the same....and neither is she.

Eight months before.....
A clock beeped several time before a hand reached out form underneath the blanket and pressed the 'off' button. The hand returned to the lump under the blanket, but only for a few more seconds before someone sat up-more like darted up. "Bethany what're you doing?" Came the voice of a male as he sat up, Bethany already out of the bed and searching for her clothes. "Carson, it's Monday! I'm supposed to be packing and heading for the airport." She exclaimed as she started tugging on her jeans, her blonde hair slightly messy from having not been brushed yet. "God, I never meant to stay the night." She said as she picked up her shoes; her green gaze darting across the room. "Hold up blondie, where you heading off too?" Carson said as he raised his brow, his five-o'clock shadowed face showing obvious confusion. Bethany shook her head as she looked under the bed, then sat back up, now annoyed. "Carson, I told you last night I had to catch a flight today- dammit I can't find my shirt." Bethany ran her hands through her hair in frustration before deciding she'd just have to forget about that shirt. "It's been great hanging out with you but I have to go." She said as she pecked his lips softly. "I'll call you when I'm back in town."
Now....
Bethany removed the sunglasses from her eyes as she looked about; it'd been eight months since she'd last been around. Thinking about how long she'd been gone brought back memorys of why she left; Carson cheated on her......but not with just anybody, nope. He cheated on her with her twin sister. Shaking her head Bethany returned her sunglasses to her face. That wasn't the only reason she'd left.
Her blonde hair was curled loosely down her back, her skin was still nicely tanned, and her smile was still bright; though someone who knew her well could tell that it was being forced. Bethany walked to the back of her BMW and popped the trunk, taking out her bags. She was currently staying in a hotel room, until she could get her dorm ready.
Since she'd been back she'd already run into a few people she'd known, who were surprised at her turning-many expected her to be long gone. Bethany could tell that strains had been added to almost all the relationships she shared with people; especially her best friend.
But Bethany's return wasn't for the people she knew, or for the relationship that was ruined, no. She returned for the sole purpose of not wasting her time on nothing; she had a goal and she wanted to get it accomplished. Yes she did care about the people, but she wasn't going to repair any relationships if she had to be the one doing all the work.
Opening the door to her room she set her bags down; shutting the door behind her before she went to lay on the bed. "I'm back." She said lightly as she removed her sunglasses again, this time a tear could been seen rolling down her cheek before she brushed it away.
