overall •He’s the imagination that never rests. River is an artistic young man with music and graphite drawings. He’s a prolific writer and a sort of quiet boy. He takes a little while to get use to people around him but can still always be found humming or sketching something. He is so dedicated to finishing some pieces of art that he’ll carry them everywhere and even stay up all night until he can say it’s done.
River is an excellent listener and will sit and listen to anyone who needs someone to talk to unless they tell him to beat it. He’s a pretty wise kid both in a good and bad way. One wouldn’t be surprised to find him saying something snarky or cynical. He often playfully teases people to make them smile as well.
At his age, he has a bit of an invincibility complex, thinking nothing could slow him down. River believes that because he’s an athletic guy and so tall that he can be intimidating. Beyond that, he does have a fighter demeanor but only when his friends and family are insulted and would gladly punch someone out, which, due to fighting with his older brother, he’s actually quite capable of doing.
In the world of academics, River is struggling with his success. River’s iq is high and his attention span isn’t as high for things that quite frankly bore him. He hasn’t failed anything but has struggled to pay attention in class occasionally. He is often the one that his friends go to for help with homework.
"but i thought they were dating."

overall • River Musha was born the second of a set of twins. He and his twin sister were considered ‘the complete set’ as a family joke. As it turned out, his twin would be the only sister he ever got and thus she stuck out in the family of six more then he did. From a young age, River was sort of a dorky kid. He wore glasses and had his hair cut short by orders of his uncle who was training him to be a football ‘legend’ for free. The young River was always kept well in shape.
He and the girl he ended up falling for were next door neighbors. Her mother worked for his father as a body guard while he went to meetings. The two of them probably knew each other from the moment either of them had consciousness. They were best friends in grade school and rarely seen apart. River once even punched a kid’s tooth out for insulting her. His older brother, Will, who River swears has been on growth hormones since he was a baby, picked on him for it and though River would try to get him back. William aka Blaze could out run him.
River was the second athlete of the family and had to live under the shadow of his older brother who was much taller than him. Blaze was a track star and even better at basketball due to his slender long build. River, on the other hand, had more power in his strikes and succeeded in football, wrestling and soccer. The two were constantly in competition on who could bring home the most trophies or medals and at one time, even the most injuries. Though, River will tell anyone today, if it hadn’t been for his older brother, he probably would have never worked so hard. The two of them still text each other before each of their games almost as a good luck charm and a way to stick their tongue out at each other from miles away.
Finally when River hit puberty, he took control for himself and let his hair grow out. He got contacts and new clothing now that Edmund wasn’t standing behind him constantly. He shot from 5’6 to 6’5 in the course of three or four years. His dorky childish looks faded away into the man he was becoming, even at fifteen he managed to grow a beard.
After River got out of eighth grade, they decided it would be better for the brothers not to have to share a gym and since Blaze was already a junior, River went off to St Sophia. To his own luck, his friends and bandmates, Corri, Joey, TJ, and Nikki all were sent at the same time, along with the girl next door, Alex. They’ve all been there ever since.
"this movie is total nuts."
[/Color]other •Not a lot, I have a lot of people to barter off with this guy.
roleplay sample •From another site with the same character… sorta
River Musha wasn't the most thrilled on the first day of school especially since he'd had to take an early flight from home to get in on time since his parents wouldn't let him just fly in the day before and find a hotel to crash in for the night. His hair was a mess from falling asleep on the bus that transported him from the airport to about a block from the main building's front door. Luckily he had time to dump his hand-me-down bike off at the parking lot by the dorms so not to be embarrassed about it's poor shape and overall size.
He straightened ever strap on his body, his dufflebag hanging on his left lazily, his back pack on his back containing an acer laptop and many sketchpads, two guitar cases weighing on his right and his Peavy KB60 amp in his left grip all included, before heading towards the entrance hall trying to determine if he should duck or not. He'd been smaller last year. To complete his messy student look he wore an baggy black t-shirt over a baggy grey long sleeved shirt, and dark blue jeans that must have been older or hand-me-down due to the overall bag in the legs and the rips at the knees obviously not intentionally done by a designer.
The steps weren't nearly as painful as the year before, where he carried all that plus the bike and paperwork, then again last year his older brother came with him and was poking fun at him the entire time. River didn't even have to duck when he got to the door and walked in, he just had to maneuver everything around so it would fit. He looked around at some of the lost students obviously by their overall dumbfounded appearance. He'd choose one to help, he would have chosen more if he'd packed lighter.
He stepped towards Selena, he didn't think he'd seen her before and she did look a little lost. "Hey" He said looking down at her as he walked over. "Are you lost?"
