overall • Most would describe Alex as an independent woman with a good head on her shoulders. Though not very bold, she is quite intelligent and is very loyal and caring for her friends. She’s very stubborn when it comes to their well being and her role in insuring that it is well.
Alex has also been described as one of the boys. She isn’t afraid of getting dirty or throwing a football around and even wrestling with them. She can hold her own with the best of them. She enjoys simple things that are usually described as boyish, like action movies and video games. She just blends in with them really well.
In the world of femininity, it would almost seem like Alex is at a loss. That would only be on the outside looking in. Like most girls her age, Alex fantasies about boys and does make sure that she looks good even without a designer tag on her. She typically doesn’t like the stereotypical and follows her own path.

overall • Alex Lee Oceana was born the first child of Gwen and Keith Oceana. It’s said that immediately, that she was neither of her parent’s child but her grandmother’s baby. Alex spent many weekends with her grandmother, Alana, who seems to share multiple personality traits with her first grandchild. At home, she went back and forth between Mom’s girl and daddy’s girl. Her father, in one of those stages, playfully named her bumble bee, around the time they put her in kickboxing.
Alex end up falling for the dork next door when she was a little kid. Even as a dork, she thought he was kind of cute. He was nice and smart, he was always around her at school and the two of them became best friends. Over the years, Alex convinced herself that that was all they were, but secretly still loved him.
Alex discovered she could sing when she was a little girl. In fact, it was River who pointed it out when he came in to hear her sing the last few lines of Amazing Grace while waiting for him to show p one Saturday morning. He tried to convince her to sing in front of others but never managed to get it out of her. Alex once even distracted him with asking him to teach her how to play guitar. River did end up teaching her how to, just so she couldn’t use it to distract him from his goal.
Just recently, Alex, the boy next door and his garage band all ended up at St. Sophia. She doesn’t know what to come now that they’re in high school, and that River isn’t exactly the dorky little kid that he use to be. She just hopes he notices here and at the moment, is contemplating ways for that to happen.
